Busy Bee Story
At Busy Bee Playschool we have created a safe and secure environment where children can feel loved, where respect of our diversity is celebrated, and curiosity is encouraged.
Our school has been located on the corner of Tram and Bronkhorst Streets in Pretoria, behind our ‘magic’ green gates for almost twenty-five years. It started in one of the original Tram company houses, with its wooden floors and zinc roof, the school has grown to become a well-established pre-primary school.
There are large classrooms for each age group and the playground, designed to accommodate the developmental stages of children from 12 months to 6 years. Busy Bee is located under our beautiful well-shaded trees.

Meals and Food Policy
Meals and snacks are included in the Busy Bee Playschool fees and cover breakfast, lunch and two snacks. We use mealtimes as an opportunity to encourage healthy eating and teach our children the importance of a healthy diet.
All meals are prepared from scratch by our in-house chef and we try to use only fresh ingredients. We avoid salt and preservatives and all meat served is Halaal (to meet the needs of all our cultures).
Filtered water is provided throughout the day and we ensure a variety of seasonal fruit is available at snack times.
We are more than willing to discuss and accommodate the individual dietary requirements of your child.
